Michael Joseph appointed acting Safaricom CEO

Former Safaricom CEO Michael Joseph has been appointed in acting capacity following the demise of Bob Collymore.

Joseph, Collymore’s predecessor, is also a member of the company’s board and was appointed to manage the transition following a board meeting that was convened on Monday, hours after Collymore lost the battle to cancer while in his Nairobi home.
