JSC confirms shortlisted candidates for Appeal, Labour Relations and Land courts vacancies

A total of 35 candidates have been shortlisted for interviews to fill 11 positions of Judge of the Court of Appeal.

The list has been whittled down from 113 applications to the commission which advertised for the posts in March.

JSC says that interviews shall be conducted from June 10th to 24th and the members of the public are free to offer any information of interest in respect to any of the candidates.

“The JSC would like to confirm that the shortlisted candidates will be interviewed on the dates and time indicated above. Members of the public are requested to avail in writing any information of interest in respect to any of the shortlisted candidates on or before 17th May 2019,” the notice stated.

Another 63 candidates have also been shortlisted for the position of the judge of the Environment and land Court, with interviews set for July 15th to August 5th.

Twenty nine candidates have also been shortlisted for the post of Judge of the Employment and Labour Relations Court.
