World football governing body FIFA has confirmed that the outside broadcasting equipment purchase programme for Football Kenya Federation has not been done.

Kurunzi exclusively revealed that the supplier of the OB van had been ‘repossessed’, reports which FKF denied saying they had never been handed over the equipment.

A FIFA spokesman has now told Kurunzi, in a email reply, the project is yet to be completed and “for further details you should contact FKF. “

“The implementation of the broadcast equipment project referred to in your message is ongoing and FIFA is in contact with FKF regarding the matter,” stated the one-paragraph response.

“If you wish to quote FIFA, please simply attribute this to a FIFA spokesperson.”

Amidst demands by stakeholders to come out clear on the issue, FKF said the equipment bought through a British company known as WTS, would be handed over to them by end of February.
